Reggia di Caserta, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997, boasts 1,742 windows, 123 hectares of Royal Park, 3 km of Waterway, and over 200 botanical species in the English Garden. This exceptional monumental complex was designed by architect Luigi Vanvitelli under the commission of Charles of Bourbon in the 18th century, aiming to rival Versailles and Madrid.
A visit to the Vanvitellian Complex includes the Royal Apartments (open from 8:30 am to 7:30 pm, with last entry at 6:15 pm), the Court Theater (Saturday and Sunday – except free Sundays – from 10 am to 1 pm), the Royal Park, and the English Garden (open from 8:30 am until hours to be verified depending on the month of the year).
Here are the various types of tickets available:
• Full Park + Apartments (to visit the Royal Apartments, the Royal Park, and the English Garden);
• Full Park (to visit the Royal Park and the English Garden);
• Evening Apartments (to visit the Royal Apartments, usable from 5:00 PM);
• Reduced Park + Apartments for EU Citizens aged 18-24 (for European Union citizens aged between 18 and 24 to visit the Royal Apartments, the Royal Park, and the English Garden);
• Free Ticket (if already used at another site in the circuit): for minors under 18 and those entitled to discounts);
• Free Park + Apartments (for minors under 18 and those entitled to discounts to visit the Royal Park, the English Garden, and the Royal Apartments);
• Free Parck (for minors under 18 and those entitled to discounts to visit the Royal Park and the English Garden);
For timed tickets, it will be necessary to respect the selected time slot during purchase.
Teatro di Corte
Until December 30, 2023, it is open on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 4:30 PM to 7:15 PM (last entry at 6:45 PM). On Saturday and Sunday, it is open from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM (last entry at 12:45 PM). It remains closed on free admission days.
