Giardino Bardini
Giardino di Boboli
Ticket available for purchase online and at our Visitor Centers
Four hectares of woodland, vegetable garden, and orchard nestled within the medieval walls of the city. Nature like no other. A story of natural beauty. The splendid panoramic position of Giardino Bardini over Florence, between Costa San Giorgio and Borgo San Niccolò, preserves an uncontaminated place right in the city center. Giardino Bardini tells seven centuries of Florentine history and gardening, of botanical introductions, fashion, and changes. It was a Baroque Florentine garden in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries with grottoes, statues, fountains, flower gardens, and holm oak groves. In the nineteenth century, there was a transition from the Anglo-Chinese garden of Le Blanc to the Victorian garden, with rose borders, basket flowerbeds, camellias, and peonies of the Carolath-Beuthen princes.
The daily admission ticket is cumulative with the Giardino di Boboli and may vary depending on the temporary exhibitions held in these museums throughout the year.
