”Chianti Origo”, a space dedicated to the world of Chianti. An innovative dimension of cultural and territorial communication through different aspects: Museo alle Origini del Chianti – Terre di Gaiole – Galleria Olmastroni – Casa Eroica and Ciclofficina Berruti.
The Museo alle Origini del Chianti preserves and enhances a heritage that draws from archaeological evidence of Etruscan and Roman antiquity, the widespread presence of medieval parish churches and castles, and the landscape shaped over the centuries by traditional vine and olive cultivation.
Within the Chianti Origo complex, there is also a room that allows visitors to discover the Terre di Gaiole, through the voices of its protagonists and their wines, now famous worldwide. The Casa Eroica exhibition unfolds in different rooms where interactive stations, animated art walls, immersive projections, and VR experiences available in dual language accompany visitors in reliving the emotions and history of Eroica. In the corridor adjacent to the large terrace stands the “Galleria Cesare Olmastroni”, a master always deeply connected to Gaiole in Chianti, where, once a year, the “Con gli occhi di Cesare” exhibition will take place, to honor Olmastroni’s memory with displays dedicated to landscape paintings and other works by the artist native to Fonterutoli.
