From November 27 to June 30, the museum of the Ministry of Culture, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, will welcome one of the most prolific and influential contemporary Italian artists, interpreter of the radical renewal of the artistic language as well as protagonist of Arte Povera.

The “Metawork” exhibition takes its name from the work Metawork-United Portraits presented for the first time on the occasion of the exhibition. Created starting from the photographic portraits of eight citizens of Cittadellarte, it manages to recombine them through an artificial intelligence program, allowing that transition that characterizes Pistoletto’s work already in the Mirror Paintings, from the individual to the collective dimension. The exhibition is produced by the Reggia di Caserta Museum and Opera Laboratori, in collaboration with Cittadellarte – Fondazione Pistoletto and Galleria Continua, and offers a profound journey into the Biella artist’s visionary concept of “metamorphosis” and “interconnection”.
