Eighty years of history enclosed in 24 shots. The exhibition “GIANNI BERENGO GARDIN. COMMENTED PHOTOS” will be on display at the Centro Studi Espositivo Santa Maria Maddalena in Volterra from April 16th. The absolute protagonists of the exhibition, which will remain visible until September 30th, are a selection of photographs by Gianni Berengo Gardin. Moments imprinted on film that have recounted an era, accompanied and sometimes built a vision. In the exhibition, promoted by Anima di Volterra with the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Volterra and the Basilica Cattedrale di Volterra, and produced by Opera Laboratori in collaboration with Contrasto, it will be possible to discover the art of one of the greatest masters of Italian photography, always able to surprise with his ability to tell the story of our country and our time. No one like him has been a true interpreter, a devoted craftsman, a companion, a lover of photography understood as careful and never banal documentation of reality.
